My vision for Massachusetts over the next decade starts with job creation. Our state has lost 180,000 jobs over the past ten years – a situation that is simply unacceptable. In order to reclaim the title of “innovation state,” we must take advantage of our education, health care and technology resources, establish Massachusetts as a welcoming environment for entrepreneurs, and implement long-term solutions that will have lasting results. These objectives can be achieved through lowering our business-related taxes, reducing costs linked to employment, and living within our means on Beacon Hill. Through a new strategy and new leadership, Massachusetts can once again grow jobs and become economically competitive. Take a look at how I will be a Governor who means business in the truest sense of the word in my “Economic Recovery Act.”
